KISS brings you SWAT

The world’s only integrated album system.

Albums are hell.

Many photographers don’t offer albums—despite their significant profit potential. The mess of apps needed to design, share, approve, export, upload, and order is overwhelming. The old system is badly broken.

Join the revolution.

There is a new, modern way to be rescued from disconnected, option-laden apps or expensive, inefficient outsourcing. Thousands of photographers, tired of wasting time and money, have already left the old world behind—you can, too. Use SWAT, the world’s first integrated album system.

Join the free. Join the profitable. Join the SWAT Army.

SWAT: The only integraded system. SWAT takes the tangled confusion of processes, people, and programs required for albums and unifies them into a single, simple solution. One place to design, share, and order–without having to export, import, and upload over and over again. SWAT requires no software to purchase, install, or maintain as it is entirely cloud-based, allowing photographers to access their designs anyplace, anytime.

Designing in SWAT is intuitive and fast. It can instantly design a draft of your album that you only had to review and tweak.  A simple click of a button turns your design into a slideshow for your client’s review. SWAT collects your client’s comments right on the slideshow, where you can see—and even respond—without any confusion. When you are ready to order, no exporting or uploading is required;  another click and technically perfect files are delivered immediately to KISS for production.

SWAT can deliver better results than desktop applications in 7% of the time. Designing in Photoshop can take an average of 40 hours per design (after a single round of edits); the same design in SWAT can take less than 2 hours. But, saving photographers time isn’t the only thing making SWAT unique—SWAT can also be used for free.

Be recruited for FREE.

The Recruit Plan allows you to have up to 3 active designs at any one time and an infinite number of archived designs. Active designs can be edited, archived designs are locked down—but you can still order them as albums, use the slideshows, or export the high-res JPEGs.

Enlist—we make it worth your while.

The Enlisted Plan is $99/year and allows you to have up to 15 active designs at any one time and an infinite number of archived designs. More importantly, every order you place to KISS using SWAT, you get a 2% credit that you can use on your next order. If you order around 20 books a year, SWAT pays for itself. Order more than that, and it’s like you’re being paid to use SWAT.

What about my existing account?

As of now, everyone is in the free Recruit Plan. SWAT will allow you to have more than 3 active designs and edit them (just like it always has) until Nov 14th If you are one of the 80% of our users who have 3 or fewer active designs, nothing will change. SWAT will continue to work like it always has. If you want to design a fourth album, you’ll have to archive or delete one, or upgrade to the Enlisted Plan.

If you have more than 3 designs, you will get a warning in the system, letting you know you have 1 week to continue to edit your designs before the system will freeze them. If you archive or delete enough to where you have 3 or less, everything will continue to work in SWAT as before. If you want to continue to edit more than 3 active designs at once, you simply pay for the Enlisted Plan upgrade, which gives you 15 active slots.

Remember, archived designs can still be ordered through KISS, have the high-res JPEGs exported, and all the slideshows will still work on your blog or Facebook. That’s why we recommend you never delete real designs—just archive them.

What do I do now?

Many photographers are using KISS books as guest books. Thanks to Carley, she blogged about gifting one to her brother and future sister-in-law. Love it, Carley! Check out the blog and her photos below!

“There are so many creative ways to have a guest book these days. I know you’ve all seen the traditional guest books, though… people sign their name and if there’s room leave a tiny little message.  It doesn’t seem like something you keep out and look at too often. As I’ve mentioned 100 times before, my brother is getting married in October (that’s a month away, Megan!… not counting or anything)  SO as a bridal shower gift I designed a guest book around their engagement photos!  The lay-flat pages have a lot of white space for guests to write messages to the happy couple.  It’s a great way to keep all their wedding memories AND display their engagement photos!  Thanks to KISS books, they keep everything super simple and clean!  So engaged couples or future engaged couples – keep this type of album in mind!”

Thanks for KISSing!

Annie Tsai is now using KISS!

“Oh yes…the KISSES ARE HERE…and I don’t mean slobbery kind! I searched high and low for the perfect, most deserving of all wedding albums for my clients. Durability with grace, tradition with playfulness and romance with some spunk! There you have it, all in a KISS Wedding book. Here’s a run down of why I love it aside from how deliciously delightful and scrumptious it looks:

  • Full-grain natural leather – so soft and supple you will want to kiss it and caress it (According to their website, this is normal behavior. HAH!)
  • Lay-flat binding – the pages stay down!  No need to fight with the pages while you reminisce!
  • Seamless folds  – No cuts in between pages. Why ruin a memory with a cut?
  • Super durable pages – pages so thick that you won’t be able to dog-ear it (and trust me you wouldn’t want to ruin those vibrant photos with dog-ears either!)
  • Chic dust cover – Dust covers are a must for the king of all albums…but a CHIC dust cover? that’s just frosting on the cake + more!”

Annie, you rock girl! KISS can’t wait to work with you more.
Thanks for KISSing!

LaVere Media is now offering KISS books!

“Wedding books are arriving. And wow, how things have changed.

Wedding albums used to be rather plain and boring, but now there are a range of choices and options available, and sometimes those choices can be overwhelming. LaVere Media decided to take the “simple yet elegant” route, and use a company called KISS Wedding Books. We couldn’t be happier.
First, the books arrive extremely well-packaged with lots of TLC given to every detail. Instead of a cardboard box, the book is packaged in a beautiful cloth sleeve:”
