I got the sweetest email tonight:

k, so I got the album. And I became a statistic. How so? Because now I’m under your spell, like all the others. :) But the cool thing is, you treated me as more than just a number #1437. That’s worth bragging about. I also followed suit with all the other KISS admirers and posted a blog: Check it here! Anyway, thanks again! I will be ordering a sample album in the next six months so I can share the KISSes with more fabulous couples…and have one of my own….

Here’s her blog…

After she received her book, I asked Joanna how her KISS experience went… Here’s what she said, “The book is outstanding, it exceeded my expectations. The quality is amazing, and your customer service is top notch! I am thrilled to be able to offer your albums to my clients. Thank you so much again again, I’ll be a customer for life!”

Thanks, Joanna!

You can go here to read and post on the full thread, but I thought I’d pull some favorite quotes:

It is just as fabulous, and then some, as many of you have said!

-Melanie Swan (no relation! hahah)

dude, jacob, you’re gonna pee your pants when you get your samples!

-Trevor Meeks

I know I am, I check the order status every other hour, even though I get a sweet update email every time the process moves on… I’m doomed once I get that UPS tracking number, then it will be the UPS site every 10 minutes…Me wanty now!!!!!!!!!

-Jacob Oldenkamp

I am jumping on the Kiss love bandwagon (hey now!)! And I haven’t even gotten the book yet! But it all started back when I downloaded Kevin’s InDesign tutorial. I was having issues (me issues, not them issues) and he was so attentive and helped me out and I got the tutorial downloaded!

So I got to working on designing the album, placed my order, and was so stoked!

What do you know, a little while later I see I have a message on my cell phone! It’s Kevin calling to welcome me to Kiss and wanted to make sure the process went smoothly!!

What a guy! And what customer service and attention!

Seriously, if the book is HALF as awesome as everyone is saying, I am sold. So very excited. Thanks Kiss folks for making it such an ENJOYABLE process!

-Kim Hurst

Hahah. Thanks guys! We love you! KISS

Hi Kevin,
The books look way better than I ever imagined, they are so high quality! The colors came out exactly as I wanted them to. I have already pitched them to a couple of clients on some interviews and they loved them. Almost everyone that I pitched the book to ordered them in there packages. The customer service at Kiss is the best ever also, all other wedding book placed treated me terrible and would not get back to me they just didn’t care if I used them it seemed like. The High quality books, great customer service, the simplicity and the stress free speedy ordering is like a dream come true for this wedding book issue. Kiss will be the only company I will use. Thanks again for your excellent service!

Amish Solanki, a swanky photographer up in Vancouver, posted on his blog today…

But not to stray off topic and keeping with the hallmark of the holiday, I got a “Kiss” today! And this Kiss came in one box, with a big pair of lips on it:

You might be asking what I ordered, and if its ‘work safe’ but rest assure, it is (although i’m sure the Fedex guy thought else wise!). My two portfolio albums from my album supplier, Kiss Wedding Books, arrived today, and I can’t take the grin off my face. I’ve read about the quality and workmanship that goes into these albums, but NOTHING prepares you for your first hands on test. The full grain Italian leather is beyond what words can describe. Yes I actually did a cheek test, and its oh-so buttery smooth.

The binds are perfect, 2mm pages cut to perfection, and the prints (Kodak Eudora Satin Paper) are ubber smooth and vibrant. As you can see I’ve ordered two albums one 10

Check out Saad’s cool blog, where he sez:

We recently decided to use Kiss Wedding Books as our flush mount album carrier.
While some people have said that they wish the album had some type of title branding and/or cover picture, I personally think that plain is stylish. It looks, to me, quite contemporary. Unlike other albums, there’s no over the top “bling bling” on the covers, the pages aren’t glossy or metallic (I HATE metallic, and I HATE glossy even more), and all the pictures are sharp and easily viewable.

Like they say, “One book, three sizes, six Colors, no options”. You don’t have to deal with 30 different textures, 50 different cover elements, feathered book marks, or any shiny things that draw attention. The album doesn’t take anything away from the pictures. Clients don’t enjoy the album because of some uber space age cover material, rather, they enjoy the album for the photography it displays inside.

I like that.

BUT…

The ONE thing I DO wish they had… a box. It can be as simple as the album. While there is nothing wrong with the pillow cover type bag the album comes with, I like boxes and wish they offered it.

We hear you about the boxes, man. We’re working on it!
