We love to share KISSes with as many people as we can. Sometimes, we get an opportunity to bless someone who couldn’t otherwise get KISSed!

We were alerted to a couple of projects that are being discussed on OSP

The first was brought to our attention by Chris Austin, one of 3 photographers (Jeannette Sanchez and Heather Aschtgen are the other 2) covering the final birthday party of a 16-year-old girl, Brittanee, who is dying of cancer. There will be something in the neighborhood of 200-300 guests.

Pixel2Canvas is providing an enlargement and KISS is providing an album that Chris will design. Pray for that family! As a father of four, I can’t even fathom what it must be like to know you’re about to lose one.

The second opportunity was brought to our attention by Jen Mobbs. Lori Evelyn, an OSP member, shot a wedding of some friends back in August. They are a missionary couple to New Guinea. She shot the wedding for free, bless her heart, and was looking to provide them with an album. She loved KISS, but couldn’t swing the fee (having just finished up chemo, herself, and having been out of work for a bit!) so she was looking for a cheaper alternative. KISS decided a cheaper alternative wouldn’t do! We offered her a $300 gift certificate to help things along. :) We can’t wait to surprise the couple with their new KISS Book!

Thanks, folks, for letting us know about opportunities like these. Feel free to keep them coming, we love to be involved in the community of photographers that we have the fortune to serve.

Thanks for KISSing!

Kevin Swan

We had around 12 people participate in the Diva workshop, and I KNOW they all got their money’s worth! It was a blast. The Divas are so classy, fun, and knowledgeable that they charmed everyone. Here’s a few photos from the event:

Be sure to blog stock us — we’re gonna do this again at WPPI next year, probably in the same house but we may do more sessions. It was too much fun! Thanks, Divas!

Home. Sort of. Mar 26th

Vegas nearly wiped us out! hahahah. Shaun’s back in Fullerton, and I’m back in Zionsville. Sort of. I spoke at OSP Indy 3 (which ends tomorrow) on Monday regarding album sales. As soon as I have a chance to get settled, I’d love to blog a bit about Vegas. We met some awesome people and are very excited about the near future.

Many thanks to the team at Flosites for getting this blog done before WPPI. They are the busiest people I know and they managed to get it done.

Thanks SO MUCH to our clients who came by. It was a blast putting faces to names and we look forward to KISSing all of you soon. To the fence sitters… come on in, KISS wants you.
